ViVID Webinar

This time we were joined by more than 250 attendees who had the opportunity to discover the latest on how the Virtual Vehicle Integration & Development (ViVID) Project is revolutionising the engineering of the new Transit, yielding fantastic insights for the automotive industry.

The ViVID project is an Advanced Propulsion Centre funded and Ford led collaborative industry research project that aims to focus on the development of digital engineering tools to promote model-based systems design and verification in the Virtual Product Development process. The research involves three UK industry-based partners – Ford Technologies, McLaren Applied, IPG Automotive – and an academic partner – Loughborough University.

With presentations from all ViVID Partners, we provided insights on how ViVID is pushing the boundaries of co-development, competitiveness and new capabilities of the UK automotive industry using digital engineering.

If you did not have the chance of attending the webinar all the presentations are available below. Read through the slides of IDE, Ford UK, IPG Automotive, Loughborough University and McLaren Applied. Recordings of the webinar and Q&A session are also available below.
